New toolchain (LFS2008 module) (gcc 4.2.2, glibc-2.3.6 to keep 2.4 kernel compatibility)
Software updates (Ex: BusyBox 1.8.2, Gnome 2.20, Xorg 7.3)
2.6.24 & 2.4.36 kernels, patched with squashfs
Ndiswrapper, Aufs, Virtualbox 1.5.4
Perl v5.10.0, Python 2.5.1
Easy install from another distro (tested with fedora, open suse & ubuntu) : the script 'install-linuxconsole-from-other-distro.sh' adds 'LinuxConsole' to boot loader, without altering data & apps on the current distribution
Cups 1.3.5 with gutenprint & hpijs drivers (14914 drivers available)
A lot of modules will be added in that repository, OpenOffice 2.3.1 and 3D drivers (ATI Catalyst 8-01, NVIDIA-1.0-7676), missing from the CD are here.
The 2007 modules keep compatibility whith this release
