* is linux console based on other linux distributio? if yes, wich one?
- no, LinuxConsole is buildt from scratch
* is it possible to install it on hard disk (i just know it is, and actualy it is the only game distribution that does it)

- You have to update the game module, ask for module update on forum if it is not up to date
* wich kind of package manager does Linux Console use?
- Its own package manager, from a web browser (packages are squashfs files prefixed lcm)
* who create/maintain Linux Console?

You can start LinuxConsole from :
- CD/DVD
- Hard disk
- Floppy
- USB Disk
- Network (PXE)
- Zip drive
Some other explanations :
- Linux is the 'heart' (also called 'kernel'), it is the link between software and hardware
- Linux is 'Open Source', its source code is freely available
- A Linux distribution contains the Linux kernel, and software to use the computer.
- LinuxConsole is a live distro : you don't need to install drivers for your hardware, these are included with LinuxConsole, and all hardware should be auto configured at first boot.
